Brief

For over more than four decades, Yorkshire Care Equipment has been devoted to delivering outstanding mobility solutions and creating high quality equipment to fulfil their mission to achieve an enhanced quality of life for the elderly and disabled.

The company was looking for a technical and strategic partner to optimise its website, and to create a strategy of qualitative and engaging content for increasing SEO performance. SALT.agency was approached for expert support, insights, and technical consultations to achieve peak website performance and increased visibility.

When initially hiring SALT, we already had a WordPress website, with no plans to change. However, they quickly demonstrated that our existing website had numerous build errors, particularly in site architecture/structure, which would impact our long-term SEO. As we didn’t have budget for a new site, they kindly helped us to build a new website, using resource from both their team and our marketing department. This move has proved to be highly beneficial for us, as it’s helped our organic search traffic, whilst switching to HTTPS and enabling WooCommerce at the same time. This has also opened great possibilities for future revenue from ecommerce.

Alongside the new build website, the team at SALT also worked on keyword research and tracking (which we had never implemented before), as well as analysing and advising us on changes to our existing product content. They helped us set up a public relations, content marketing, and social media strategy and calendar, which forms the backbone of our online marketing activity today and has enhanced our reputation in the healthcare industry.

As the previous site was not fit for purpose, SALT.agency started the project with a complete technical SEO website audit. We were able to plan a technical infrastructure for a new optimised website and set up a strategy to move the existing site to a brand-new ecommerce website.
