Day - To - Day Activities

At SALT.agency, SEO is not a tick box activity. Each month you will be completing a broad range of activities for clients, which are bespoke to each campaign. Each day varies, and you’ll get the chance to dabble in everything. As a Senior SEO Consultant, your day-to-day activities could look like this:

• Supporting Account Directors
• Bridging the gap between teams
• Building strong relationships with clients
• Assisting with new business pitches
• Planning client deliverables
• Delegating and planning workflows
• Setting strategical objectives
• Assisting with quality control

• I’m not sure technical SEO is my thing; can I still apply?
  Whilst we encourage our team members to have a technical understanding, you know you need to be a technical expert in applying. You do not need to have a specialism from the onset, and we understand that everyone has different skills and passions. You would be able to dip your toes into our project management, strategic and technical teams. Or you could be a mix of it all and work across the teams!
• How will you develop my knowledge?
  We have a dedicated learning and development team who will work closely with you and your line manager to identify skill and knowledge gaps. You will be invited to a regular training session and receive feedback on what you need to learn to progress in your role.
• Is this role remote?
  This role can be remote! If you are a successful candidate, you will be able to work with the hiring manager to work out what would work best.
• How many client accounts will I work on?
  Client workload varies depending on contract size and other activities you may be involved in. As a senior consultant, we understand that you will be involved in various other projects. You will not be working with more than seven clients at any given time.

We review our salaries every quarter and aim to keep them above the 50th percentile of the salary data firms such as PayScale for the role. As a policy, at times where we find individuals who we truly believe make a step-change in the company where their salary requirements are above our current banding, should we choose to hire them. Everyone carrying that role out in the company will have their Salaries lifted simultaneously.
